The Preparation and Performance of the Temperature-Sensitive Yttrium-90 Radioactive Gel

  • Radionuclides combined with the temperature-sensitive gel carrier could apply to tumor therapy. In this paper, the preparation of yttrium-90 radioactive gel was conducted while performance of gel property was introduced. The results showed that the yttrium-90 labeling yield could reach 98%, and Y-90 radioactive gel could be converted within three minutes under the human environment temperature (37 ℃). Meanwhile, in the PBS buffer liquid, the leakage ratio of the yttrium in the gel is below 3×10−5.
