Analysis Method of Strontium⁹⁰Sr in Medical Yttrium⁹⁰Y Chloride Solution

For the rapid analysis of the amoun of ⁹⁰Sr in medical yttrium⁹⁰Y chloride solution, ⁹⁰Sr was separated from the yttrium⁹⁰Y chloride solution by DGA resin,and measured by a liquid scintillation counter. The acidity and volume the elution were also studied. The results show that this method provides stable and reliable detection results, good linearity, and fully meets the detection requirements of ⁹⁰Sr with a limit of <2×10⁻⁵ Bq/Bq (⁹⁰Y). The detection time is less than 2 hours, reducing the time of release testing and the radiation dose to operators.
