Abstract
The intercalated α-ZrP materials have been extensively concerned due to their excellent properties for removal of metal ions from complex system. Three intercalated α-ZrP materials were prepared by intercalating of butylamine, heptyamine and decylamine, and there adsorption behaviors for Sr2+ have been studied systemically. Intercalation of guest molecules into the layered structure of α-ZrP can significantly improve adsorption properties of Sr2+. The α-ZrP intercalated by butylamine has exhibited the better adsorption ability for Sr2+ than those of heptyamine and decylamine. In addition, the Sr2+ adsorption capacities onto the intercalatedα-ZrP have a direct relationship with hydrated radius of metal ions, the sizes of intercalated molecules and interlayer distances.
