Progress on Safe Disposal of Antibiotic Fermentation Dregs by Irradiation

  • Antibiotic fermentation residue is a kind of hazardous waste, which is rich in nutrients and has good value of resource utilization. However, the premise of resource utilization is to degrade the residual antibiotics, which is an serious problem to be solved urgently. In this review, the characteristics and principles of irradiation degradation technology were introduced, and the research progress of antibiotic irradiation degradation technology was summarized. In addition, the prospect of antibiotic irradiation degradation technology was analyzed, and the future research direction of antibiotic irradiation degradation technology was discussed. The purpose is to provide reference for irradiation degradation technology in the innocuous treatment of antibiotics.
