The Artificial Fracture Longitudinal Profile Testing Technology in the Application of Hydraulic Fracturing in Daqing Oil Field

  • The technology of artificial fracture longitudinal profile testing was applied to monitor and evaluate the effect of hydraulic fracturing in Daqing oilfield, and for the first time to realize the industrialization of the technology. In the process of hydraulic fracturing, using the method of tracer diagnosis testing, the distribution of support agent around well was determined by detecting 46Sc, 124Sb and 192Ir. Combined with the well completion data and reservoir geological structure information, the fracture height and the equivalent crack width of each layer were explained, and the fracturing effect was evaluated. The field application showed that the technology met the need of evaluating the fracturing effect of the well. Using the technology of longitudinal section testing of artificial cracks to detect fracturing cracks, it can be used to analyze the law of the expansion of artificial cracks, whether there is a traversing layer, underpressure layer and unpressed layer. It can know the seam height, seam width, and the concentration distribution of support agent in the crack in the near well zone. It is very effective to promote the progress and perfection of fracturing design and fracturing technology, improve the success rate of fracturing, and save the cost for the oil field. The technology is developed and owned by High Technology Atomic Co. LTD., which breaks the monopoly of foreign enterprises on the technology.
