Abstract
Positron emission tomography ( PET) imaging has successfully allowed the noninvasive detection of cardiovascular disease and shows good clinical application prospects. Development and translation application of various imaging agents furtherly enable PET imaging to be used for early detection and progression evaluation of cardiovascular diseases at molecular level, which can improve sensitivity and specificity of early diagnosis and monitoring of the diseases. This review mainly describes development and application progression of PET tracers for cardiovascular diseases imaging.
