Preparation of Radioactive Isotopes by CS-30 Cyclotron and Their Applications

The preparation and applications of radioactive isotopes by the CS-30 cyclotron in Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology of Sichuan University was briefly introduced. Until now, several isotopes, such as ¹⁰⁹Cd, ⁵⁷Co, ²¹¹At, ⁹⁸Tc and ¹²³I have been produced. Among the isotopes, ²¹¹At labeled compounds were prepared and preliminarily evaluated in vitro and in vivo. In the future, some other isotopes, such as ⁶²Zn (⁶²Zn-⁶²Cu), ⁶⁴Cu, ⁶⁷Cu, ⁶⁷Ga, ¹⁸F, ²⁰¹Tl, ⁶⁷Ga and ¹¹¹In will be explored, so as to promote the development and application of the accelerator-produced nuclides.
