Synthesis and Structure Characterization of 13C1-DDT

  • Chlorobenzene and 13C-chloral were used as the raw materials to generate the target product 13C1-DDT in concentrated sulfuric acid as catalyst.The isotope labeled compound was characterized by DSC, FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and MS. The results showed that the chemical purity of the product was better than 99% and its isotopic abundance was more than 99%. The yield of product was 51%. 13C1-DDT product could be used as standards.
