Eliminating the Interference of ⁴⁰Ar^2＋ to ²⁰Ne^＋ by Using Ionization Energy

In order to eliminate the interference of ⁴⁰Ar^2＋ to ²⁰Ne^＋ in the GAM400 QMS’s detectability, the method of regulating impacting electron energy near a threshold which is the sum of the first and second ionization energy of ⁴⁰Ar was used. This method needs no sample additional preparing conditions and doesn’t change the origin sample. So it is a simple and quick method to eliminate the interference in the analysis of Ne isotopes.
