Application of Gas Chromatography in Hydrogen Isotope Separation

The principle of gas chromatographic separation of hydrogen isotopes are briefly introduced in this paper. The main methods of gas chromatography,such as elution chromatography, hydrogen- displacement chromatography, self- displacement chromatography and frontal chromatography are discussed in detail as well as its applications. Perspective focused on the development of hydrogen isotope separation by gas chromatography was presented．
