Quantitative Measurement of 90Y-labeled compounds in Animal Biodistribution by γ Counter

  • In order to investigate the biodistribution of 90Y-labeled compounds in animal experiment, γ counter was used to quantitatively measure the radioactive counts from 90Y bremsstrahlung in tissue samples. The effect of factors on measurement result was compared, including sample volume, sample radioactivity, concentration and color of digested tissue samples, different digested tissue samples, and the tissue samples before and after digesting. The experimental data demonstrated that γ counter can be used to quantitatively measure the biodistribution of 90Y-labeled compounds in animal experiment when the tissue samples were digested and adjust the volume to same level.
