The Establishment of Immunoradiometric Assay for Insulin

  • Abstract:Two monoclonal antibodies against insulin are used. One of the antibodies is immobilized to plastic tubes as the solid phase, the other is labelled with 125I as a tracer. The sensitivity of the assay is 2.8mIU/L and the recovery is 92.3%~112.6%.The intraassay and interassay CVs are below 5% and 10% respectively. The correlation coefficient between measured and expected values is 0.996 after serial dilutions of the samples with high concentration of insulin. The value for normal samples (n=39) is 4.7~14.3mIU/L.Compared with RIA, the correlation is well(r=0.981)。
