Preparation of High Purity 18O Gas by Electrolysis Method

High purified 18O gas is used as the gas ion source material of 18O heavy ion beam; meanwhile, it is also widely used in trace technique, medicine and other fields. In this experiment, 18O gas is prepared from the electrolysis of heavy oxygen heavy water by using a set of self-made electrolysis system, the obtained 18O content is higher than 63.66% under the condition of total oxygen 90.17% and the requirement of various researches can be satisfied.
