Preparation and Evaluation of 99Tcm-HYNIC-Annexin V for Apoptosis Imaging

Bifunctional chelating agent succinimidyl 6-tert-Boc-hydrazinopyridine-3-carboxylic acid(HYNIC) was synthesized and successfully applied in the conjugating and radiolabeling of Annexin V. One molecular of Annexin V was conjugated with two molecular of HYNIC. The radiochemical purity of the labeled compound is 98.8%, and the purity of 95.1% is remained after 6 h. 99Tcm-Hynic-Annexin V has been successfully evaluated in animal models and the results show that it can assay the cell apoptosis
