The Research of IMS Technology and It’s Application in Narcotic Drugs and Explosives Detection

The introduction of ion beam constraint and alternating gradient field focusing techniques in Ion Mobility Spectrometer(IMS) are presents. The molecules ion spectrometer of several sample show that FWHM (Full-Width at Half-Maximun) is better than 0.2 μs. It shows potential application, especially in detecting drugs and explosives in future.
