Radiolabeling of Magnetic Nanoparticles With ~(188)Re for Magnetic Targeted Radiotherapy

  • Histidine is covalently linked to the amine group upon silica-coated magnetic nanoparticles modified by N--ethylenediamine using glutaraldehyde as cross-linker. The magnetic nanoparticles are then radiolabeled with ~(188)Re using fac-~+ as a precursor with a good labeling yield of 91.4%±0.3% under optimized conditions (reaction temperature 70 ℃, reaction time 40 min, and buffer solution pH 6.6) and obtained above 80% radioactivity retention of radiolabeled magnetic nanoparticles incubated with wild vibration in calf serum under 37 ℃ within 3 days.
