Study of ~(153)Sm Labeling Bisphosphonates and Its Absorption by Hydroxyapatite

  • The compounds of 2-AEDP (2-amino-ethylene-1,1-bisphosphonic acid) and ABDP (4-amino-1-hydroxybutylidene-1,1-bisphosphonic acid) are labeled with 153Sm. The results show that the labeling yields are >95% with certain pH and the quantities ligand. The stabilities of the compounds are good. The hydroxyapatite(HA) can absorb 153Sm-ABDP easily, the facts show that it can be a promising candidate for bone tumor radiotherapy.
