The Preparation of ~(153)Sm-glucoheptonate

Abstract
Influences of labeling conditions on the formation of glucoheptonate (GH) labeled with 153Sm and in vitro stability of 153SmGH are investigated. The effective labeling method of GH labeled with 153Sm is established. The results show that the labeling yield of 153SmGH is more than 98% using an open nitrogenpouring labeling system heated in boiling water bath with reactive time not less than 30 min, concentration of GH more than 2.4×10-2 mol/L. The specific activity of 153SmGH is up to 14 GBq/g(GH) using 153SmCl3 with the high specific activity of 153Sm (~4.5 TBq/g(Sm)). 153SmGH can remain well with its radioactive chemical purity more than 96% within 40 hours at room temperature.
