The Entrance to Bone Tumor Cells of ~(153)Sm-EDTMP by Microautoradiographic Tracing

Abstract
The dynamic process of 153SmEDTMP entering into bone tumor cells and its behavior characteristic in osteosarcoma cells are studied by microautoradiographic tracing. The results show that 153SmEDTMP condense on membrane of osteosarcoma cells at first, then infiltrate through cell membrane or phagocytized by osteosarcoma cells and distributed in the form of phagosomes. In apoptotic osteosarcoma cells 153SmEDTMP could be observed in the membranebounded apoptotic bodies. So, the progression of apoptosis in osteosarcoma cells induced by 153SmEDTMP is dependent on the infiltration and phagocytosis of 153SmEDTMP through cell membrane.
