The Entrance to Bone Tumor Cells of ~(153)Sm-EDTMP by Microautoradiographic Tracing

  • The dynamic process of 153SmEDTMP entering into bone tumor cells and its behavior characteristic in osteosarcoma cells are studied by microautoradiographic tracing. The results show that 153SmEDTMP condense on membrane of osteosarcoma cells at first, then infiltrate through cell membrane or phagocytized by osteosarcoma cells and distributed in the form of phagosomes. In apoptotic osteosarcoma cells 153SmEDTMP could be observed in the membranebounded apoptotic bodies. So, the progression of apoptosis in osteosarcoma cells induced by 153SmEDTMP is dependent on the infiltration and phagocytosis of 153SmEDTMP through cell membrane.
