An New Imaging Agent for SPECT of Dopamine Transporter: ~(123)I-β-CIT

I-β-CIT, 123 I- (2β-carbomethoxy-3β-4-iodophenyl-tropane),is a potential imaging agent for SPECT of dopamine transporter with high affinity, slow brain kinetics and high uptake ratio of striatum and cerebellum. The studies of 123 I-β-CIT on its labeling,kinetics and clinical appliance are introduced.
