Experimental Study on Tungsten Isotopes Separation by Gas Centrifuge

The separation of tungsten isotopes by gas centrifuge is studied. Through resolving some crucial technical questions such as choice of working substance, adjustment of centrifuge paremeter and design of the separation process, the concentration of 186 W is more than 98%.Furthermore, the overall separation factor for unit mass difference γ 0 is obtained. It is helpful to the separation of other stable isotopes in the future.
