RADIATION GRAFTING MODIFICATION OF PVA FILM

The direct radiation grafting of PNIPAAm onto PVA film is performed. The grafting conditions including the effects of absorbed dose, dose rate, concentration of monomer, acid and Cu 2+ on the grafting yield are studied. In the meantime, the properties of grafted film are determined. The result indicates that the PVA\|g\|PNIPAAm grafted film behaves with higher swelling ratio than pure PVA film and obvious temperature sensitivity.\;
