PVT RADIOCHROMIC FILM DOSIMETER

  • A new radiochromic film dosimeter is prepared. It can be utilized to measure absorbed doses in radiation processing. The radiochromic film has been found to have advantages in reproducibility, stability, dose rate between 4 and 143Gy/min and independence on irradiation angle and negligible variation for most environment parameters. In addition, the film has sensitive response, lower limit of measurement (0.2kGy) and good linear response in the region of 0.2—50kGy to ~(60)Co gamma rays. The linear correlation coefficient is more than 0.999 and the measuring precision (σ) ±4%.
