An antiserum against rT_3 was obtained by immunizing rabbit with a conjugate of rT_3 methylester and bovine serum albumin The antiserum had a final dilution of 1: 15000 to 1: 42000, and the affinity constant was 1. 23×10~(10) to 10.5 × 10~(10) mol~(-1) l, The cross reaction with T_4, T_3 showed lower than 0.02% and 0.032% respectively.
