  • A method of ion exchange for the purification of radionuclide ~(55)Fe produced by irradiation in the nuclear reactor is presented. Radionuclide ~(55)Fe was purified by the anion exchange resin of type-717 made in China in the hydrochloric acid system. Radioactive impurities with energies>100keV in the purified ~(55)Fe was less than 10~(-6).
