Poolside Activity Measurement of Cobalt Target

  • 摘要: 为了获取压水堆经过一个循环辐照后的钴靶活度数据,利用丙氨酸剂量片测量位于水下的钴靶剂量场分布,通过蒙特卡罗(MCNP)计算修正钴靶结构、水介质、测量装置、操作以及环境的影响。结果表明,从水下测量的钴靶活度数据与理论计算值相符,不确定度为6.5%。从实验与蒙特卡罗计算两方面确认了方法与装置的可行性。

     

    Abstract: To obtain cobalt target activity data after a cycle of irradiation in a pressurized water reactor, the cobalt target dose distribution was measured underwater using alanine dosimeters. The effects of cobalt target structure, water medium, measurement device, operation, and environment were corrected using Monte Carlo calculations. The feasibility of the method and device was confirmed through both experimental and Monte Carlo comparison. The underwater measurement data of cobalt target activity matches the theoretical calculated values, with an uncertainty of 6.5%.
