用γ射线能谱法测量材料的吸收系数和厚度

The Absorption Coefficient of Materials and Thickness Measurement by γ-ray Energy Spectrum Analysis

  • 摘要: 采用NaI(Tl)闪烁谱仪测全能峰的方法测量了137Cs和60Co的γ射线在铅、铜、铝材料中的吸收系数。对137Cs(0.661MeV)分别为1.213、0.642、0.194cm-1,与公认值相差均约1%;对60Co分别为0.674、0.481、0.149cm-1,与公认值相差均在5%以内。利用铁的吸收系数对其未知厚度进行测量,测量结果的误差均约2%。

     

    Abstract: γ-ray absorption coefficient in different materials, such as Pb, Cu and Al, are measured by γ-ray energy spectrum analysis. The results are 1.213, 0.642 and 0.194 cm~(-1), respectively, and the relative difference is about 1% compared with the value of generally acknowledged for ~(137)Cs energy spectrum. The results are 0.674,0.481 and 0.149 cm~(-1), respectively, and the relative difference is less than 5% for ()~(60)Co energy spectrum. The task of thickness measurement of Fe are performed by known absorption coefficient. The relative difference is within 2.5% for ~(137)Cs γ-ray energy spectrum.
