以四氟化锗为介质离心分离72Ge同位素技术研究

Technical Study on Centrifugal Separation of 72Ge Isotope with Germanium Tetrafluoride as Processing Gas

  • 摘要: 为研究气体离心法分离72Ge同位素的技术,以四氟化锗(GeF4)为分离介质,通过理论计算,探索通过短级联浓缩法生产72Ge的可能性。计算结果表明,使用相对丰度匹配级联(matched abundance ratio cascade, MARC)模型,两次分离后可以得到丰度高于55%的72Ge。在实验室现有的离心级联上,采用21级阶梯级联的结构,通过调整级联内部工况和外参量,对级联分离性能进行优化。经过两次分离实验后,最终得到72Ge丰度高于60%的产品。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, germanium tetrafluoride (GeF4) is used as the separation medium to carry out a technical study on the separation of 72Ge isotopes by gas centrifugation. First, through theoretical calculations, explore the possibility of producing 72Ge through short cascade enrichment. The calculation results show that using the MARC model, 72Ge with an abundance of more than 55% can be obtained after two separations. On the existing cascades in the laboratory, a 21-step cascade structure is adopted. The separation performance of the cascade is optimized by adjusting the internal working conditions and external parameters of the cascade. After two separation experiments, a product with 72Ge abundance higher than 60% was finally obtained.
