离心法生产131Xe同位素技术研究

Research on Production Technology of 131Xe Isotope by Gas Centrifuge

  • 摘要: 为利用离心分离方法将131Xe同位素丰度浓缩到90%以上,本研究采用多组分矩形级联算法进行级联计算,分析中间组分的分离特性,研究级联长度、供料位置、级联分流比等参数对分离效果的影响。对分离131Xe同位素的矩形级联分离方案进行优化,制定生产丰度为90%以上的131Xe运行方案,通过解决131Xe同位素分离过程中的级联工况调整与稳定、中间组分浓缩等关键技术,最终经8遍分离获得丰度为93.786%的公斤级131Xe产品,证明级联生产高丰度131Xe产品的可行性。

     

    Abstract: 131Xe isotope with high abundance are widely applied in inertial navigation and the medical field. The centrifugal method is proved to be the most efficient method for separation of xenon isotope. It is the purpose of this research to obtain 131Xe isotope with abundance of over 90% by centrifugal method. By an efficient method to calculation multi-component square cascades, the separation characteristic of intermediate component isotope was analyzed. Influence of parameters, such as cascade length, feed position and the cut on separation effect were studied. Optimization design of run schemes for separation of 131Xe isotope was carried out. The scheme for producing 131Xe with the concentration of 90% was designed. The process of producing high enriched 131Xe isotope is introduced in the paper. A serial of key technologies such as the adjustment and stabilization of working conditions of cascade and the enrichment of intermediate component were solved. The isotope products 131Xe with the concentration of more than 90% can be obtained by multistep processes.
