Abstract:
The fracture width, which is an important parameter of hydraulic artificial fractures in oil fields, can be quantified by the tracer-sand
192Ir. First, through the deduction and calculation based on the simulated fracture model, the linear relationship between the fracture width and the
192Ir ray intensity can be obtained. The tracer-sand
192Ir for tracer experiment is prepared, and then add the tracer-sand into the simulated fracture filled with the supporting sand, and log in the laboratory fracture width apparatus, the experimental relationship curve between fracture width and
192Ir ray intensity is obtained. Finally, field experiments prove that the use of tracer-sand to evaluate the width of hydraulic fracturing is accurate.
