Production Techniques of Fission Molybdenum-99 via Highly Enriched Uranium: A review

  • 摘要: 随着放射性药物化学和核医学的快速发展,放射性诊断核素99mTc在临床的应用越来越广泛,从而使得当前全球对其母体核素99Mo的需求量不断增加。目前高浓铀靶裂变法生产99Mo仍是最广泛使用的方法。本文系统介绍了国内外采用高浓铀靶裂变法生产99Mo的发展历史和生产工艺。

     

    Abstract: The demand of the isotope molybdenum-99 (99Mo) exploded since its daughter isotope—the Technetium-99m (99mTc), has been the most widely used medical radioisotope all over the world, accounting for >80% of total nuclear diagnostics worldwide. In this review, discusses are focused on radiochemical routes for the production of 99Mo, (including target materials, separation, purification) and the historical viewpoint of 99Mo technology developments.
