称重法测量强63Ni薄膜源活度的研究

Research on Activity Measurement of Strong 63Ni Source by Weighing

  • 摘要: 为解决因63Ni源的β射线能量低,使强63Ni源活度难以直接测量的问题,依据放射性物质活度和质量的关系,利用称重法对化学镀镍工艺制备的强63Ni源活度进行间接测量。结果显示,不同编号的63Ni镀层质量为0.92~2.16 mg,根据63Ni比活度、镀层中Ni含量计算对应镀层活度为4.1×108~9.6×108 Bq。考虑天平、Ni含量分析的系统误差,该活度数据的可靠性较高。

     

    Abstract: Strong 63Ni source can be widely used in vacuum electronic devices, ion mobility spectrometer, gas chromatography, isotope battery and other fields. Some areas such as 63Ni isotope battery, 63Ni activity are important for the evaluation of battery conversion efficiency, but its activity measurement is rarely studied. To solve the difficulty of directly measuring strong 63Ni source activity, based on the relationship between the activity and quality of radioactive material, the indirect measurement method was proposed by weighing for the activity of strong 63Ni source prepared by electroless nickel plating process. The results showed that the mass of the 63Ni coating with different numbers was between 0.92-2.16 mg. According to the specific activity of 63Ni and the Ni content in the coating, the activity of strong 63Ni source was calculated from 4.1×108 Bq to 9.6 × 108 Bq. Considering the system error of the balance and Ni content analysis, the reliability of the activity data was approving.
