Abstract: According to measuring mode(in-hopper, surface, sampling neutron moisture gauge), the development and application of neutron moisture gauge in china were introduced，which include the following course from only measuring moisture content of soil to monitoring moisture content of farmland and saving water for irrigating farmland, from measuring moisture content of pellet to coke and coal material, from only measuring moisture content to computerized neutron moisture gauges with density compensation and of high precision.
