近距离治疗肿瘤的放射性粒子研究进展

Research Progress in Radioactive Seed for Brachytherapy

  • 摘要: 放射性粒子近距离治疗肿瘤是现代肿瘤治疗的重要手段之一。其中,125I粒子和103Pd粒子的应用较成熟,125I粒子主要用于治疗分化较好、增殖较慢的肿瘤,103Pd粒子在增殖较快的肿瘤治疗中具有明显的优势。粒子链和复合粒子是粒子研究的重要方向,尤其是103Pd-125I复合粒子源能够结合两种核素的特性,工艺上具备可行性,具有重要的临床意义和广阔的应用前景。本文回顾了放射性粒子近距离治疗肿瘤的发展历史,介绍了粒子源的种类及应用,分析了该技术的优缺点,阐述了粒子应用研究进展。

     

    Abstract: Brachytherapy is one of the most important technologies in the modern tumors treatment. 125I seed and 103Pd seed are applied widely and maturely, 103Pd seed is considered to be more effective in treating aggressive and fast growing tumors, and 125I seed has obvious advantages on slower growing tumors. Seed strand and hybrid seed are two important direction of the research concerning the brachytherapy seed, especially in the 103Pd-125I composite seed can combine the characteristics of the two kinds of nuclides. Thus, the 103Pd-125I hybrid seed has important clinical significance and broad application prospect. The history of the technology is reviewed; the seeds of variety used in brachytherapy are introduced, as well as their application; the advantages and disadvantages of brachytherapy are analyzed;and the research progress of the seed is summed up.
