Abstract:
Application value of SPECT perfusion imaging and its therapeutic evaluation after intravascular stenting in ischemic cerebral vascular diseases were sudied. 27 patients with cerebral vessels stenosis were confirmed by digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and checked by CT,MR and
99Tc
m-ECD SPECT perfusion imaging. 10 of them underwent angioplasty in site of stenosis, SPECT perfusion imaging was used in 7 of the 10 cases after 3-6 months of operation, ratio of rCBF in ischemic area to the same side cerebellum were determined by means of semi-quantitative analyses, and improvement of the regional cerebral blood flow after operation was evaluated. Numbers of ischemic regions were founded by SPECT perfusion imaging more than that founded by CT or MR, but except the basal ganglia and the periventricular white matter. The mean ratio of 17 ischemic regions before operation was 73.42%, in comparison with 80.67% after operation in 7 operated patients(
P<0.01), that showed the blood flow improved obviously.
99Tc
m-ECD SPECT perfusion imaging may reflect sensitively to the ischemic foci and may evaluate perfectly the condition of regional cerebral blood flow after intravascular stenting.
