软件延迟符合法分辨氡同位素的仿真研究

Simulation of Discriminating Radon Isotopes Using Software Delayed Coincidence Counter

  • 摘要: 本工作以MATLAB软件仿真的方式,探索用软件方法实现延迟符合法分辨氡同位素;并改变延迟时间和开门时间寻找较好的分辨效果。结果显示,该方法可降低测量成本,延迟时间调整方便,并可用于低水平活度氡同位素测量。

     

    Abstract: Logic delayed circuit is an important method of discriminating radium isotopes by indirectly measuring radon isotopes. Based on the theorem of delayed-coincidence system,a method of software delay coincidence discriminating radon isotopes were proposed. The uncertainties of different delay time and gate time were studied. The results showed the optimum parameters. The software method is a alternative to hardware, it can significantly reduce the cost and also offers convenience and flexibility. At the same time, this method can be used in radon isotope measurement of low activity.
