reliminary Experimental Studies on Measuring the Grease Stain Thickness in the Oil Pipeline by Acute Angle Incident Method

  • 摘要: 本文用石蜡模拟油垢,用60Co放射源的1.25MeV平均能量的γ射线小角度入射,分别在小角度和大角度散射角内接收散射γ光子数,发现散射γ计数与被测石蜡厚度之间存在线性关系。实验结果表示小角度散射法结果相对于大角度散射法结果好一些。
    Abstract: in this article the oil crust is simulated by the paraffin, and the 1.25MeV γ ray of 60Co is irradiating by acute angle. We have accepted the scattered γ ray photons both in the acute and large scattering angles, and we give out a linear relation exists between the counting numbers of the scattering γ rays and the thickness of the paraffin. The experimental result implies that the result of the small angle scattering method better than the result of the large scattering angle method.
