On-line wear measurement of an engine using thin layer activation method with charged particles

  • 摘要: 利用带电粒子薄层活化法,对一种 ZS1105型柴油发动机缸套内壁和活塞环镀层的磨损进行了初步检测。实现了在发动机不同运行状态下,对缸套内壁和活塞环镀层磨损的同时在线测定。在本实验条件下,基于 300 s测段本底计数的估计,本法对汽缸内壁和活塞环镀层的最小测量磨损厚度分别为 9 nm和 100 nm。
    Abstract: Wear of the top compression piston ring and the cylinder bore in a ZS1105 diesel engine was simultaneously and on line measured by using thin layer activation (TLA) method. Under the experimental conditions, the minimum detectable wear thickness was 9 and 100 nm for cylinder bore and piston ring in 300 s counting interval, respectively. Some details of the design, operation and experiment results of the wear measurement system are also presented
