Abstract:
Lipoidol plays an important role in curing liver cancer, because it can prolonged selective retain in hepatoma cells. In order to improve labeling efficiency of nuclide yttrium-90 in lipiodol, a new method of extraction is used to label steady yttrium, Di(2-ethylhexyl) orthophosphoric acid (P204),Di(2-ethylhexyl)phos acid (P507),Cyanex 272,nonanoic acid,naphthenic acid,oleic acid and 8-oxine are selected as extractants. The results indicate that the labeling efficiency with P204 can reach 99.9%,and that with P507 or Cyanex 272 is also high, but the labeling efficiency is very low with any other extractant. By this method the stability of labeled yttrium-90 with P204 is very good in physiological brine, while the loss efficiency is only 0.01%~0.14%. The extraction method for labeled yttrium-90 has some merits, such as simple operation, brief labeling flow and easy control. Therefore, the method for labeled yttrium-90 with P204 in lipiodol is potential in curing liver cancer.
