Study on Correction Interference From ~(80)Br~m in Neutron Activation Analysis of Br Using ~(80)Br as Indicator

  • 摘要: 通过理论分析和实验研究观察了活化分析短照射测定Br时,生成的同质异能素80Brm对测量80Br所产生的干扰。结果显示,80Brm对80Br的干扰随照射时间和冷却时间的增加而增加,照射时间为10~300s、冷却时间为1h时,其贡献将达到约15%~18%。本工作实验证明了基于衰变纲图的理论计算校正方法的可靠性。在较好的计数统计条件下(小于1%),校正后的不确定度可以控制在2%以内。

     

    Abstract: The interference correction of 80Brm to 80Br determination in neutron activation analysis are studied theoretically and experimentally. The results indicate that interference contributions of 80Brm to 80Br increase with the increase of the irradiation time and decay time. The contribution factor is about 15%~18% when the decay time is 1 hour and irradiation time are 10 to 300 s. The results of present experiments confirm the reliability of the correction equations based on the decay scheme. The uncertainty after correction can be controlled in less than 2% when the counting statistic is good enough(smaller than 1%).
