Measurement of Atom Numbers of Compound α Source by Using a Gridded Ionization Chamber

摘要: 用屏栅电离室方法对混合α样品内4种同位素的原子数进行了测量。利用屏栅电离室测量效率高、探测立体角大,并且同时具有能量和角度分辨能力的特点,对混合α样品的自吸收和散射进行了修正,得到了比较准确的结果。该工作为进一步开展用屏栅电离室测量轻核(n,α)反应微分截面工作奠定了基础。该方法还可以用于微弱α源的测量。Abstract: Atom numbers of the isotopes of a compound α source are measured by using a gridded ionization chamber (GIC). Make full use of the characteristics of the GIC, the self-absorption and scattering effects are corrected, and the precise results are derived. The study establishes the basis of the further experiment of the light nuclei (n,α) reaction. The method can also be used in measuring the weak α source.
