中子计测块煤水分的理论计算

The Theoretical Calculation on Measuring Lump Coal Moisture Using a Neutron Gauge

  • 摘要: 采用中子扩散理论计算了插入型中子计的块煤水分响应。该中子计是由点状中子源(241Am—Be)和面型探测器(Li玻璃)组成的。计算结果表明:短源距时热中子注量率分布随水分增加而增大,长源距时则相反。当源距为10 cm时,水分响应是线性的,其相关系数>0.9930。

     

    Abstract: The moisture response of the lump coal for the insert-type neutron gauge is calculated using the neutron diffusion theory. The neutron gauge is composed of a point type of neutron source (241Am-Be) and a surface in short source distance detector (Li glass). The calculation results indicate that the thermal neutron flux (φ3(r))density increases with the moisture increases in short source distance detector, and it is contrary to the long source distance. When the source distance is 10 cm, the moisture response is linear(R>0.993 0).
