Abstract: The developing history and the present situation of the study on neurotransmitter and receptor imaging are retrospected and summarized briefly. The clinical application and investigation of central neurotransmitter and receptor imaging is mainly introduced. Meanwhile, the preliminary exploration for enhancing receptor studies and facing a various problems in our country in future is discussed.
