慢中子束对钢板的静态测厚研究

  • 摘要: 利用慢中子束对钢板厚度的静态测量方法进行了研究。结果表明:探头越高则灵敏度越差,探头高度应低于15cm。当钢板宽度大于10cm时,宽度变化对厚度的测量无影响。实验标定了BY3钢板和DT4纯铁板。对4种探头高度,在6—20mm厚度范围内,给出了线性标定曲线。该两种材料可以用同一组标定系数

     

    Abstract: STATIC MEASUREMENT OF THICKNESS OF STEEL PLATE USING SLOW NEUTRON BEAMZhang Zhiping Liu Shengkang(Physics Department, Nanjing University, 210093)ABSTRACTThe static method is used to measure the thickness of steel plate by means of slow neutron beam. It is found that the higher the detector is located, the worse the detecting sensitivity, and the detector height should be less than 15 cm. When the width of the steel plate is over 10 cm, the change of its width does not have any effect on the result of the measurement. BY3 steel plate and DT4 pure iron plate are experimentally calibrated, these two kinds materials have the same calibration coefficients.
