从大量照射Bi_2O_3靶中分离~(210)Po

  • 摘要: 基于210Po4+与金属Bi之间的电化学置换反应,可从堆照的Bi2O3靶中分离210Po。在秦山核电站原型堆启动用210Po-Be中子源棒的研制过程中,采用Bi粉搅拌自镀与Bi粉柱自镀相结合的方法从Bi2O3靶中分离210Po取得了良好的分离效果,提取率高达98.6%。

     

    Abstract: THE SEPARATION OF(210)Po FROM LARGE AMOUNT OF IRRADIATED Bi_2O_3 TARGETSCui Haiping; Zhang Haiyan;Xu Rongwang;Cai Shanyu (Department of Isotope, China Institute of Atomic Energy, Beijing 102413)Abstract:Based on tile electrochemical replacement reaction between bismuth metal and 210Po4+, the polonium can be separated from irradiated Bi2O3 targets.In order to get large amount of 210Po material,the spontaneous deposition technique combined Bi powder stirring with Bi powder column is adopted in the preparation of 210Po-Be start-up source rod for 300 MW Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant.
