Abstract:
DETERMINATION OF SERUM TNF FOR PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS PATIENTSQiao Xueren(Shengli Hospital,Shengli Petroleum Atminintrotive Burean,Dongying City,Shandong Province, 257055)Abstract:Adopting radioimmunoassay, the serum TNF of 33 normal persons and 62 pulmonary TB potierltsare determined. The results are as foliows: the serum TNF content of normal persons is 14. 80±0. 72fmol/l, while the serum TNF of pulmonary TB patients is 16. 60±1.11 fmol/l before treatment. Obviously, the value is higher than that of normal normal persons. The serum TNF content of pulmonary TB patients is 13. 90±1.12 fmol/l after treatment and the value is obviously lower than that of normal persons. Furthermore, after two month treatment the serum TNF content of progresive-stage pulmonaryTB patientS is 14. 70±1. 81 fmol/l. The value is obviously higher than that of resolving-stage pulmonary TB patients 13. 40±1. 03 fmol/l after two month treatment (P<0.01). It shows that TNFis concerned with the condition and pathogeny of pulmonary TB patients. So the determination ofserum TNF has clinical significance to pathogeny. judgement and curative effect observation of pulmonary TB.Keywords: pulmonary tuberculosis tumor necrosis factor (TNF) radioimmunoassay
