放射性核素中子源各向异性系数的测定

DETERMINATION OF ANISOTROPIC COEFFICIENTS OF RADIONUCLIDE NEUTRON SOURCE

  • 摘要: 测量了法国放射化学中心生产的~(241)Am含量约为200 GBq的圆柱形~(241)Am-Be中子源的各向异性系数,在径向方位上,其值为1.045,顶端和底端分别为0.836和0.884。各向异性系数的准确度主要取决于探测器计数的统计误差。根据探测器的中子灵敏度和己知的各向异性系数,可估计被测中子源的源强和角源强。

     

    Abstract: The anisotropic coefficients of cylindric ~(241)Am-Be neutron source, produced by French Radiochemical Centre, were determined.The neutron source contains about 200 GB_q ~(241)Am.The anisotropic coefficient is 1.045 in the radial direction of the source. In the top and bottom directions of the source, the values are 0.836 and 0.884 respectively. The accuracy of anisotropic coefficient mainly depends on the statistical error of the counting. By the neutron sensitivity of the detector and the known anisotropic coefficients, it is able to estimate the strength and angular strength of the neutron source to be measured.
