Abstract: This paper describes a fast and simple method for preparation of ~(131)I-ortho-iodo-hippuric acid using CuSO_4 as a catalyst. This method not only lowcrs the temperature of labelling ortho-iodo-hippuric acid, speeds up the reaction and gives high yield, but aslo suits the requirement of large scale production.
