示踪高炉炉衬蚀损中~(60)Co示踪源装入的新方法

A NEW METHOD OF EMBEDDING ~(60)Co TRACING SPOTS IN THE STUDY OF EROSION OF BLAST FURNACE LINING

  • 摘要: 本文主要叙述了~(60)Co示踪检测生产中高炉残衬蚀损情况的一种新方法——预埋管法。其特点在于不用以前使用的“耐火砖钻孔法”,而是在炉衬砌砖过程中,首先在预定的检测点位置上,砌入一定规格的碳钢管。在护衬耐火砖砌完后,由高炉炉壳外面,用特制工具将~(60)Co示踪源装入预埋管内的一定的位置上,並用碳素泥料填充和封实。这样就避免了~(60)Co装入炉衬与砌砖工作发生平行、交叉作业,对筑炉工作发生干扰和影响,筑炉人员也不会接触~(60)Co的辐射作用。並介绍了运装罐、打泥枪等特制工具的结构及用法。由于选用了对~(60)Co辐射吸收系数小的碳素泥料填充预埋管、就相应的减小了各点~(60)Co源的活度,使环境及高炉铁水被放射性污染的放射性比度降低,可控制在国家允许标准水平以下。由此,消除了高炉大修人员及高炉工作人员对射线生物效应的恐惧感。 鞍钢高炉在1985年大修时,采用了这种方法,对氮、碳化硅砖的高级耐火材料炉衬进行检测。证实此方法具有简便、易行、准确及安全无害的优点。因此~(60)Co示踪法,做为高炉残衬检测手段,又获得新生。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, a new method——tube embedding method for monitoring the erosion feature of blast furnace lining with~(60)Co tracers is described. Instead of the traditional"refractory boring method″, the present method is embedding specific carbon steel tubes at the predetermined spots in advance during the lining of blast furnace. After the lining work was accomplished, holes were bored on the furnace casing and ~(60)Co tracers were put into the tubes with special tools and then the holes were padded and sealed with carbon trimmed materials. This will eliminate the interference caused by the parallel and crossing processes of embedding ~(60)Co and refractory lining, and avoid the constructors from being irradiated by ~(60)Co. The construction and usage of the special tools, such as container for transporting ~(60)Co and spray gun are also described in this paper. As the radiation absorbing coefficient of the tubes sealed with carbon trimmed materials is low, the dose of ~(60)Co used at every spot and the specific polution activity of the site and molten iron can be decreased to lower than the requirement of National Specification. Thus, the operators and overhaul persons may have little worry of being over irradiated, this method was adopted by Anshan Iron and Steel Complex during the major overhaul in 1985 for the supervision of high-grade refractory lining-silicon nitride and carbofrax fire-bricks. It was shown that this method was easy to carry out and safe, and the detection was precise. Hence, as a means of determining the remain lining of blast furnace,the ~(60)Co tracer method is reborn.
