Abstract: The adsorption,migration and persistence of toluene in soils were studied using ~(14)C labeled compound. The results show that the adsorption efficiencies of toluene in various soils are net high Toluene is liable to transport in soils, but the persistence half-life of toluene in soil is rather long.
